With OneDrive for Business and Office 365, you store your data centrally in the cloud, manage it, and share it with anyone, anywhere. All this can be done with the highest security criteria. Numerous OneDrive for Business projects have shown that OneDrive does not yet cover all customer requirements. That's why we developed Konnekt which lets you embed your cloud storage as a directly usable file system in Windows Explorer.
Use OneDrive for Business from your Office 365 or SharePoint Server. Store and synchronize documents conveniently and quickly from any Office application, SharePoint site, File Explorer, or directly from the browser in the cloud, and share or collaborate on them simultaneously.
Protect your data with advanced encryption, compliance, and security features while giving your employees the ability to share documents internally or externally to enable modern collaboration. Manage documents with features such as access rights, versioning, recovery, and more.
Synchronize data on your PC or laptop, smartphone or simply in the browser. So you have your documents accessible at all times everywhere you go. Konnekt from Glück & Kanja even eliminates the waiting time when synchronizing large amounts of files and data from OneDrive for Business, and other Cloud storage is immediately usable.
Many of our customers face the problem that employees use free data sharing tools from the Internet to make their work as effective as possible. For example, as a logical step to greater flexibility at work, employees drop files into Dropbox or other services to access them from anywhere with any device. This is a serious security problem for businesses.
OneDrive for Business integrates with all other Office 365 services. This makes it easy for users to log in with their company account and password. Outlook offers the option to send only a link to the corresponding file in the OneDrive folder instead of an attachment.
If this does not go far enough for security reasons, you can use Microsoft's Enterprise Mobility Suite to specify which devices can connect to OneDrive for Business (conditional access) or that files must be stored encrypted on the device in a kind of secure container (mobile application policies). For particularly critical files, a set of rules can be used to ensure that individual files are encrypted themselves and assigned special rights (Rights Management Service).
The basic requirement for using OneDrive for Business is a connection to the company network via DirSync and ADFS.
With the introduction of 'OneDrive OnDemand', Microsoft has clearly shown how relevant direct access from the desktop to Office 365 repositories is today. In contrast to OneDrive OnDemand, KONNEKT does not require Windows 10, but runs from Windows 7 as well as Citrix and Terminal Servers.
